What changed in Medicare
Short, plain-language updates on what actually changed in Medicare: enrollment dates, the amounts Medicare sets, plan availability where our offices are, and new rules from CMS. We check the official sources every week and post when something changed, so there is no filler. Every post names the person at Benefits Life who reviewed it and links to the official source for each fact.

- What changed in Medicare: October 2026
Annual Enrollment opens October 15 for 2027 coverage. Many Colorado and New Mexico counties have fewer Medicare Advantage plans than in 2026. A one-time $90 Part B premium rebate reaches most people on Original Medicare in October, automatically. The Part D cap rises to $2,400, and the 2027 Part B premium is still to come in November.
